Arts Ottawa Online Forum – Code of Conduct
Arts Ottawa is committed to maintaining an inclusive online space that fosters respect, dignity, and constructive conversation. The forum exists to connect our community, share opportunities, and support one another. By participating in this forum, members agree to the following posting guidelines: Be Respectful – All postings must be courteous and considerate. Any event or opportunity shared must avoid offensive, discriminatory, or harmful content. Harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks will not be tolerated. Stay Relevant – Posts should focus on sharing arts-related opportunities, events, and resources that benefit the community. Irrelevant or excessive posting (including spam) may be removed. Share Responsibly – Ensure information is accurate, appropriate, and transparent. Credit sources where applicable. Unacceptable behaviour includes (but is not limited to): Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind. Hate speech, discriminatory remarks, or offensive content. Excessive posting or spamming (e.g., flooding the forum with repetitive or irrelevant content). Sharing misleading, harmful, or inappropriate information.

Les comportements inacceptables comprennent (sans s'y limiter) : Le harcèlement, les brimades ou l'intimidation de toute natures. Moderation and Enforcement
All comments and posts are subject to review by Arts Ottawa staff before being made public. Arts Ottawa reserves the right to remove any post that does not align with the forum’s purpose or community standards. Members who violate the Code of Conduct will have their posts deleted and may be removed from the forum without warning. There is zero tolerance for harassment or abusive behaviour—such actions will result in immediate removal. Arts Ottawa is dedicated to making this online space safe, supportive, and enriching for all who participate. By contributing to the forum, you help create a positive environment where the arts community can thrive.
Modération et application

SAFER SPACES POLICY
The Safer Spaces Policy applies to all Arts Ottawa sponsored spaces and programs, including our in-person and online events, hubs, forums, online platforms, emails, as well as any other spaces that Arts Ottawa hosts. The goal of Safer Spaces is to encourage all participants to work together to prevent or reduce harm, particularly for those who are often the targets of violence and harassment.
